Royal Invitational

The Generals used the Royal invitational as a final tune up before next weekends ODAC Championships.  18 top 5 finishes highlighted the meet.

Women's Recap:

For the women Stacy Doornbos won both the 400m (59.57) and the 200m (26.47) setting school records in both races.  She also placed second in the Long Jump with a leap of 5.04m.  Elizabeth Webb won the 800m running a personal best time of 2:23.09 setting a new meet and facility record.  Alysen Kuck finished 2nd in the Javelin with a personal best throw of 105'4".  Caroline Davis also placed second in the 400 hurdles setting a new school record running 67.13.  Sara Behmerwohld placed 3rd in both the 100 hurdles (16.96) and the 400 hurdles (70.13).  Also in the 800m Jackie Burns crossed the line in 4th with a time of 2:26.38.  The 4x100m relay team of Huntley Rodes, Caroline Davis, Tara Hildenbrand and Sara Behmerwohld placed 3rd running 52.73

Men's Recap:

For the men, Vance Berry finished 2nd in the 1500m running 4:07.78.  Andrew Fischer also placed 2nd in the Javelin with a toss of 45.86m.  Will Holliday crossed the line 2nd in the 400m running 51.56.  Steve Rivoir was 4th in the 800m running 2:02.01  Brad Bender finished 5th in the Long Jump (5.98m) and Ben Wilson was 5th in the Shot Put with a toss of 12.15m.  Larry Clark crossed the line 7th in the 110 hurdles (17.63) and Chip McCoy was 7th in the 400 hurdles running 60.20.  The 4x100m relay team of Larry Clark, Wilson Robinson, Drew Martin and Will Holliday finished in 44.86.
