2006 Virginia State Meet

The Lady Generals won their third straight Virginia State Title

The women used an impressive pack with a :38 second 1 thru 5 runner split to win their third consecutive Virginia State Meet Title with 33 points (out of 11 teams). Six runners earned All-State honors.  The top five pack consisted of sophomore Jackie Burns (4th), freshmen Kat Telfeyan (5th), sophomore Becca Taylor (6th), freshmen Dorothy Todd (8th) Mary Frances Weatherly (10th).  Freshmen Classmates Liz Krausnick was 11th and Annie Kasper was 17th with junior Lauren Morea crossing the line 18th.

The men (running a partial squad) finished 3rd out of 9 teams.  Junior Andrew Friski led the way with an 11th place finish to earn All-State honors.  Freshmen James Wolff crossed the line 14th with junior Michael Keenan coming in 20th and freshmen Rob Saliers right behind in 22nd.  Junior Steven Rivoir (26th) and sophomore Robbie Varipapa was 28th.  Senior David Kronenfeld rounded out the top 7 with a 38th place finish.
