NEW ORLEANS, La. -- The 2007 Washington and Lee men's and women's
indoor and outdoor track and field teams were named a United States
Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA)
Division III All-Academic Team for the fourth-straight season.

The USTFCCCA honors Division III individuals and teams for their
academic and athletic accomplishments during the indoor and outdoor
track season. A team must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of
at least 3.0 to qualify for the all-academic team.

The men were one of 47 teams named to the Division III All-Academic
Team after registering a team grade point average (GPA) of 3.270, while
the women were among 73 squads honored, posting a team GPA of 3.245.

The W&L track & field teams completed the 2007 outdoor season at the
ODAC Championships with a fourth-place from finish the men and a
second-place finish from the women.
