Washington and Lee University Cross Country teams became the first school in ODAC history to sweep both the men's and women's championships for two consecutive years! 

Women's Recap:
The lady Generals had a strong team performance to win in convincing fashion with 25 team points, 33 points ahead of the second place team.  The women swept every conference post season award winning the team title, Runner Of The Year, Rookie Of The Year, Scholar-Athlete Of The Year and Coach Of The Year and having 5 runners earn All-Conference accolades.
The Generals were led by a strong 1-2 finish with freshmen Jackie Burns (Rookie and Runner Of The Year)winning the 6K race in 23:47 with sophomore Lindsay Erickson finishing second in 24:08. Freshmen Becca Taylor crossed the line 4th in 24:26 and senior Mary Christopher finished 7th with a time of 24:38.  Junior Jenny Ratzel was 11th in 25:06.  All five runners earning All-Conference.
Senior Liz Twentyman (ODAC Scholar Athlete Of The Year) finished 17th in 25:32.  Freshmen Elizabeth Webb was 22nd in 26:12 to round out the top seven.
Senior Sarah Williamson finished 27th (26:36), sophomore Jessica Buckingham was 28th (26:38), freshmen Regina Mills crossed in 33rd (27:10), senior Ashly Brown was 36th (27:56), senior Megan Ward finsihed 38th (28:01), finishing 41st and 42nd was sophomore Nicole Merrullo (28:08) and freshmen Sarah Ratzel (28:12).

Men's Recap:
The Generals used a 1-2 finish to lead the way to a 26 point team effort to win its second championship in a row.  The generals finished 26 points ahead of the second place team.  The men brought home some hardware winning the team title, Runner Of The Year, Scholar-Athlete Of The Year and Coach Of The Year awards and had 6 runners earn All-Conference honors.
Senior Nathan Johnson (Runner Of The Year and Scholar Athlete Of The Year) and sophomore Alex Mahoney finished 1st and 2nd overall crossing the line in 26:05 and 26:10.  Freshmen Michael Welsh crossed the line in 5th with a time of 26:55.  Fellow freshmen classmat Vance Berry was 8th in 27:29.  Senior Andrew Johnson finished 10th in 27:38 and sophomore Andrew Frisiki in 12th with a time of 27:47.  All six earned All-Conference honors for placing in the top 14.
Freshmen Alex Jackson finished 22nd in 28:34, Junior David Kronenfeld was 25th (28:42), sophomore Jack Jeong finished 34th (29:13), freshmen Anthony Ives crossed in 35th (29:18), sophomore Steve Rivoir was 38th (29:27), sophomore Alex Gould was 67th (32:35), Arie George finished 71st (33:25).
