ODAC Championships

The Generals capped off a great season by earning 5-Individual Conference Championships, 12 All-Conference Award winners and set 5 school records

Women's Recap:
The wormen tallied up 119 team points.  Their highest total in over 10 years.  They were just 2 points out of 2nd.  Stacy Doornbos led the team winning both the 200m (26.32-new school record), Long Jump (17'2"), and placing 2nd in the 400m (58.85-new school record) and the Triple Jump (34'7").
Becca Taylor won the 1,500m title running 4:55.80.  Jackie Burns brought home second for a 1-2 finish in the race crossing the line in 4:57.84.  Mary Christopher also placed 6th in the running 5:07.84.
The Generals dominated the 400 hurdles, taking 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th.  Caroline Davis broke her own school record finishing 2nd (66.53), Sara Behmerwohld was 3rd in 68.85, Huntley Rodes was 4th (71.44) and Stephanie Stelter finished 5th in 71.51
The 4x100m Relay of Rodes, Davis, Hildenbrand and Behmerwohld won the championship in 52.54.
The 800m event saw Elizabeth Webb finishing 2nd running 2:23.65, in the same race Jackie Burns came back from the 1500 to place 6th (2:28.24), while Mary Christopher finished 3rd in the 5,000m (19:33.76).  Other place winners were Tara Hildenbrand in the 400m running 62.67 to place 5th.  Caroline Davis (16.57) and Sara Behmerwohld (17.36) finished 5th and 6th in the the 100 hurdles. Cagla Defterali brought home a 3rd place finish in the Javelin with a toss of 26.68m.  The 4x400m team of Davis, Hildenbrand, Behmerwohld and Doornbos set a new school record placing 2nd in a time of 4:07.99.

Men's Recap:

Ryan Edge won his second High Jump title winning with a leap of 6'4" He also crossed the line 4th in the 110m hurdles (17.25)
Vance Berry ran a strong 1,500m race to place second with a time of 4:06.91  The 4x100m relay team of Larry Clark, Wilson Robinson, Drew Martin and Will Holliday finished 3rd running 44.87.
Ben Wilson had a huge PR in the Shot Put to place 4th with a toss of 41'8"
Chip McCoy used a strong finish in the 400m hurdles placing 4th in 60.17.  The 4x400 Relay team of Marshall French, Chip McCoy, Wilson Robinson and Will Holliday also placed 4th running 3:29.31.  Andrew Fischer had a scoring performances with a 5th place showing in the Javelin (46.61m).  Will Holliday also placed 5th in the 400m running 50.71
