CROSS COUNTRY

2005: Ran in five races for the Generals, earning a varsity letter. His 13th place finish at the Virginia II/III State Meet earned him All-State honors. His personal best came at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional Championship in Conway, Arkansas.

 

Prep: Jackson ran four years of cross-country at Westfield, lettering three times. A captain for Westfield in 2004, his PR at 5000m came at the 2004 Footlocker South Regional despite having a fever. He received the sportsmanship award in addition to being named a scholar athlete his senior year.

TRACK

Outdoor 2006: A consistent performer at 1500m and 5000m, Jackson set his personal best in the 5000 at the 2006 Penn Invite (16:32.93). He made his debut in the 3000m steeplechase following the conclusion of the season at the Liberty Last Chance Meet.

 

Indoor 2006: Ran personal bests in the 1000m (2:43.49) and One Mile (4:37.47) at the Princeton and Dickinson Invitational, respectively. Anchored Washington and Lee’s second-place distance medley at ODACs, earning All-ODAC honors.

 

Prep: Jackson ran indoor and outdoor track for Westfield for three seasons, earning five letters during his prep career and captaining the Bulldogs his senior year. His senior season included a huge PR indoors at 1600m and outdoors at 3200m, the former qualifying him for the Northern Regional.
