Indoor Season Kicks Off With The VMI Invitational
The Track & Field teams kicked off the indoor season sending a partial team over to the VMI Invitiational. The meet consisted of division 1 and 3 schools.
Women's Recap:
Freshmen jumper Liz Brandler lead the way for the Generals finishing 2nd among division three participants in the triple jump with a mark of 33'10.5" She also set a new school record in the pole vault clearing 9'10.25" (where she was the 3rd D3 finisher). Sophomore Sara Behmerwohld started the season off with a first place finish among D3 runners in the 55 hurdlers with a time of 9.40 While Senior Meredith Walker was 2nd in D3 in the 55m dash with a time of 7.96
Men's Recap:
Sophomore Walker Duncan started the day off with a second place (among D3) in the 35lb weight throw with a toss of 46'8" and senior Brian Krupczak was the 2nd D3 finisher in the 55m dash with a time of 6.74
