WOMEN'S INDOOR TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
ELIZABETH WEBB, Washington & Lee University Webb, a junior from Middlebury, Virginia, was the top Division III finisher (7th overall) in the mile at the Lafayette-Rider Invite. Her time of 5:03.83 broke her own school and ODAC all-time record. The performance was also an NCAA provisional qualifying mark. She then came back and set a school record and ODAC seasonal top-time in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:20.46.

ELIZABETH WEBB, Washington & Lee University Webb was the top overall collegiate finisher in the mile at the Liberty Open on Saturday. Her time of 5:07.36 set a new school and an all-time ODAC record.

WOMEN'S INDOOR TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
BECCA TAYLOR, Washington & Lee University Taylor, a junior from Hamilton, Ohio, won a pair of events at the Marietta Invitational at Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio. She finished first in the mile run with a time of 5:24.90. She also claimed the 1,000-meter title in 3:19.38. Both marks established new top seasonal times in the ODAC

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
KAT TELFEYAN, WASHINGTON & LEE UNIVERSITY
Telfeyan, a sophomore from Chesapeake, Virginia, helped lead the Washington and Lee women’s cross country team to a second-place finish out of 23 teams at the DeSales Invitational on Saturday in Allentown, Pa. Telfeyan finished fifth overall out of 203 runners with a time of 24:23.55

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
MICHAEL WELSH, WASHINGTON & LEE UNIVERSITY
Welsh, a junior from Tullahoma, Tennessee, helped lead the Washington and Lee men’s cross country team to a first-place finish out of 13 teams at the W&L Invitational on Saturday morning. Welsh was the individual champion, crossing the finish line in 28:39 and finishing 39 seconds ahead of his nearest competition in the 124-person race. Welsh earned All-ODAC and All-Region honors last season.

WOMEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Stacy Doornbos, Washington & Lee University
Doornbos, a sophomore from Roswell, Ga., finished first overall in the long jump at the Bucknell Winter Classic. Her leap of 17-feet 9.75-inches broke her own school record and was an NCAA provisional qualifying performance, and also marked the farthest jump in the conference this season. She also broke her own school record in the 200-meter dash with the top D-III meet top time of 26.88 seconds. Full Release

WOMEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Elizabeth Webb, Washington & Lee University
Webb, a sophomore from Middlebury, Va., was a member of the winning and school record-setting W&L distance medley team, running the lead-leg on the way to a 13:11.24 time. She also won the 800-meter run, stopping the watches in an ODAC season-best time of 2:29.56 at the Marietta College Open in Marietta, Ohio. Full Release

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
JACKIE BURNS, WASHINGTON & LEE UNIVERSITY Burns, a sophomore from Burke, Va., picks up her third ODAC Runner of the Week award after helping the Generals to a fourth place finish out of 19 teams at the Gettysburg Invitational on Saturday. She placed third of 192 runners with a six-kilometer time of 23:06.57. Full Release

Women’s Cross Country
JACKIE BURNS, WASHINGTON & LEE UNIVERSITY Burns, a sophomore from Burke, Va., helped the Generals to a seventh place finish out of 27 teams at the Lehigh Paul Short Invitational on Friday afternoon by placing sixth of 231 runners with a personal-best 6K time of 22:24. The time was also a Washington and Lee record for the six-kilometer distance. This is her second ODAC weekly award of the fall season. Full Release

Women’s Cross Country
Jackie Burns, Washington & Lee University Burns, a sophomore from Burke, Va., helped the W&L women's team to a fifth place showing out of 28 teams at the New York University Invitational on Saturday. The 2005 ODAC Rookie and Runner of the Year finished third out of 262 total participants, clipping the tape in a time of 19:33.0 Full Release

Women’s Cross Country
Becca Taylor, Washington & Lee University Taylor, a sophomore from Hamilton, Ohio, out ran her nearest competition by four seconds as she finished first overall at the Washington & Lee Invitational at W&L Dick Miller Course. The former All-ODAC First Team star clocked in at 20:54.00 to help her squad to the overall meet victory. Full Release
