2005: Did not race due to injury.

 

Prep: Ran two years of cross-country, captaining the team his senior year to a runner-up finish in the Mid-Atlantic Championships. He also was an All-Conference and All-City harrier for Espiscopal.

TRACK

Outdoor 2006: Opened up the season with a personal best of 4:10.96 at the Washington and Lee Invitational. Ran a season best 2:02.03 at the Wake Forest Invitational, but unfortunately missed the rest of the outdoor season because of a foot injury.

 

Indoor 2006: Varipapa earned All-ODAC honors by running the 800m leg of the Generals’ runner-up distance medley team at the ODAC Championship. Ran a season bests 2:02.00 at the Princeton Invitational.

 

Prep: Ran four years of track, leading Episcopal to the Interstate Athletic Conference championship as a captain his senior year. The Coach’s Award recipient, Varipapa earned All-Conference accolades by winning the Interstate Athletic Conference title at 800 meters and handling the baton in the 4x800m relay.
